DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL

SHOW THE
PROCESS.

The finished project is only part of the story. Our devlogs share the decisions, revisions, lessons, and growth behind the work.

RECENT LOGS

What changed—and why.

Follow projects as they evolve through screenshots, technical notes, build updates, diagrams, and links to the work itself.

4-H.dev — Turning the studio site into a long-term portfolio

We’re expanding 4-H.dev beyond a traditional studio site with dedicated spaces for our work, experiments, games, devlogs, interactive demos, project planning, and a public command-line interface.

Snake Farm — Defining the tone before scaling the systems

Snake Farm begins as an approachable, semi-idle reptile-management game with real ball-python morph names, breeding and genetics, husbandry, store progression, employee automation, challenges, and a kid-friendly goal: replace fear of snakes with curiosity. The original design board explored both 2D management and 2.5D storefront ideas; Game One now focuses the management systems first, with the more immersive storefront direction reserved for the series to grow into.

Alpha Mail — Recreating the project as an interactive case study

We rebuilt Alpha Mail as a safe interactive showcase using sample data, preserving the role-based workflows, shifts, vehicles, dues, scheduled tasks, helpdesk channels, and management tools that defined the project.

4H Terminal — An alternate interface without replacing normal navigation

Our terminal is completely optional. Use the normal navigation, or open >_ and type help.
