Why the Community Is Becoming Part of the Game

I never wanted the Snake Farm website to be a generic forum sitting next to the game. I want it to feel like the actual home of the player community.

That is why I have been building player profiles, live chat, friends and private messages, role identity, tester badges, forums, Player Support, a public roadmap, Feature Lab, bug tracking, events, clubs, and the Herper Guide.

The next major connection is account linking. The community should be able to recognize your verified Snake Farm identity and eventually show safe public accomplishments without ever becoming an authority over your money, snakes, breeding results, or inventory.

Discord and in-game chat are also planned to connect here through authenticated bridges. Those will not be fake relays that trust whatever username a browser sends; the game server and bot will verify identity before messages cross systems.
